  • Photo and Video Requirements

     

    Yearbook Photo

    • You will need to submit your current campus yearbook photo via email to Stephanie Whitlock, stephanie.whitlock@birdvilleschools.net 
      no later than March 25. This photo is used for the event program and all advertisements for this event.
    • If you do not have a current campus yearbook photo, you will need to have a head shot taken (above the shoulders only, against a plain background), and submit it to Ms. Whitlock via email no later than March 25.

    Video Recording

    A Communications Department representative will contact you in mid-March to schedule a short video recording. During this recording, you will be asked to answer one question (of your choosing) from the list below.  

    • Why do you teach?
    • What inspired you to teach?
    • What keeps you inspired to teach?
    • If you could give advice to a first-year teacher, what would it be?
    • Share a memorable moment from your teaching career.
  • Personal Photographs

     

    Five to seven personal photos (for use in Gala presentation)

     

    Submit Photos by Fri., March 29

    Your campus needs to provide five to seven photos of you taken during the regular school day to be used during the Gala presentation. These photos should include you with your students and should not all be done in the same setting/clothing.

    We would also like a school-age photo (K–12th grade) of you (scanned). Submit all requested photos via email to Stephanie Whitlock at Stephanie.Whitlock@birdvilleschools.net in the Communications Department no later than Friday, March 29. If you have questions, call 817-547-5719.
