    Solar Eclipse: Transportation Update

    As we prepare for the total eclipse on Monday, April 8, Birdville ISD wants to remind parents of the anticipated increase in visitors to the metroplex to witness this event.

    As a result, we expect heavier than usual traffic in and around the District. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel to and from school to ensure the safe drop-off and pick-up of your children.

    For students who ride the bus, we appreciate your patience as our bus drivers navigate potential delays

    due to increased traffic. On Monday afternoon, campus staff will provide students the opportunity to use restroom facilities before boarding the bus, prioritizing their safety and comfort during the ride home.

    Mientras nos preparamos para el eclipse total del lunes, 8 de abril, Birdville ISD quiere recordar a los padres del aumento previsto de visitantes al metroplex para presenciar este evento. Como resultado, esperamos más tráfico de lo habitual en y alrededor del Distrito. Por favor, planifique de forma adecuada y permita tiempo extra para viajar hacia y desde la escuela para garantizar la seguridad de dejar y recoger a sus hijos.

    Para los estudiantes que viajan en autobús, agradecemos su paciencia con nuestros conductores de autobús al tener posibles retrasos debido al aumento del tráfico. El lunes por la tarde, el personal del plantel ofrecerá a los alumnos la oportunidad de ir al baño antes de subir al autobús, dando prioridad a su seguridad y comodidad durante el viaje de regreso a casa.
