PSAT: Not a Pre-Test

    PSAT/NMSQT

    PSAT/NMSQT    No fee for 10th and 11th-grade students -- $17 for 9th-grade students –

    Â鶹¹ÙÍø covers the PSAT fee of $17 for its 10th and 11th-grade students. Ninth grade students who wish to take the PSAT/NMSQT must pay $17.00 by check or cash in the main office at Richland High School beginning September 12.  The last day to pay is Friday, September 27.  Parents can pay by credit card by going to Rev Trak  .  Even though the deadline on the website states November 30, the deadline is September 27.  Be sure that you click on Richland High School. 

    The PSAT/NMSQT is great practice for taking the SAT.  It can also qualify you for scholarship programs.  It measures the knowledge and skills you have developed in reading, writing and language and math.  If you provide your email address on the answer document, you can gain access to your scores online in December.  You will also receive a paper copy of your score report in January.

    The tools you need to get ready for the PSAT/NMSQT are on the College Board website.  You can take a practice test, review sample questions and practice on Khan Academy.  Go to
