On November 7, 2023, voters in Birdville ISD approved a local school election to allow the district to access additional funds using the tax rate on the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) side of the tax rate/budget. Because the local proposition passed, Â鶹¹ÙÍø will receive additional revenue to fund daily operational expenses such as safety, compensation and student programs/services. This will go a long way in helping us fund day-to-day operating costs in Â鶹¹ÙÍø.

A total of 8,320 or 78.13% of the voters voted For the local ballot measure, and 2,329 or 21.87% voted Against the local ballot measure. Overall, voter turnout in the local election was 10,649.
