    The list is compiled by the Young Adult Round Table of the Texas Library Association.
     
     

    New to the list this year is the designation of the Tayshas top ten titles or "Tayshas Stars". The top ten books were selected by the committee from the titles receiving a unanimous vote in the initial voting process.
