Hardeman Elementary Update 

After review of the storm damage, it has been determined that the physical structure of the building is safe. However, there is a section of the fourth- and fifth-grade wing that will need to be repaired and the building’s electrical system needs to be checked to make sure there is no additional damage. 

Hardeman Elementary is temporarily relocating to Richland Elementary* at 3250 Scruggs Parks Dr. in Richland Hills while repairs are being made. The main phone number for the campus will remain the same (817-547-2800).  

There will be no classes on Wednesday, March 23. School will resume at Richland Elementary on Thursday, March 24. 

Richland Elementary has a functional kitchen and will be able to serve hot meals. 

Â鶹¹ÙÍø will provide buses from the campus to Richland each day or parents may take their child(ren) to Richland. Additional details on the bus schedule will be provided tomorrow. 

After-school child care will continue at Richland Elementary. Families participating in this program will be responsible for picking up their child(ren) at Richland Elementary. For additional details, please contact the Kidsville leader. 

Currently, we anticipate being able to resume classes at Hardeman on Monday, April 4. However, if anything changes based on further assessment of the building, this timeline may need to change. The District will post additional updates on the Hardeman Elementary website. 

If you have further questions, Â鶹¹ÙÍø is hosting a parent information meeting from 5–6 p.m. tonight in the auditorium at Watauga Middle School.  

* Except for the special education classes of Ms. Butler, Mrs. Baca, Mr. Russell and Mrs.?Musick. These classes will be relocated to Watauga Elementary for the interim. The teachers are making personal calls to their parents.

Actualización de la escuela primaria Hardeman 

Después de revisar los daños causados por la tormenta, se determinó que la estructura física del edificio es segura. Sin embargo, hay una sección del ala de cuarto y quinto grado que deberá repararse y el sistema eléctrico del edificio debe revisarse para asegurarse de que no haya daños adicionales.

Â鶹¹ÙÍø proporcionará autobuses desde el plantel hasta Richland todos los días o los padres pueden llevar a su hijo(s) a Richland. Mañana se proporcionarán detalles adicionales sobre el horario de los autobuses.
