    My role as Crisis Intervention Counselor is to support our students' social and emotional well-being and development. I do this through counseling in my office, leading our Tiger Time program, and partnering with teachers to incorporate social and emotional learning in their classrooms. My background is in mental health and I am a master's level social worker.

    My partner is our Professional Counselor Ashlynn Burdett. She supports students' academic needs, and also does some social/emotional counseling. Mrs. Burdett is a former teacher and loves to help students enhance their learning. She supervises scheduling, and can also help your student set goals and stay on track.     This year's theme is - Your Choice, Your Path - and our counseling program strongly supports students in making positive decisions. 


    Mi función como Consejera de Intervención en Crisis es apoyar el desarrollo y el bienestar social y emocional de nuestros estudiantes. Hago esto a través de asesoramiento en mi oficina, dirigiendo nuestro programa Tiger Time y asociándome con maestros para incorporar el aprendizaje social y emocional en sus aulas. Mi experiencia es en salud mental y soy un trabajador social de nivel de maestría.

    Mi pareja es nuestra consejera profesional Ashlynn Burdett. Ella apoya las necesidades académicas de los estudiantes y también brinda asesoramiento social/emocional. La Sra. Burdett fue maestra y le encanta ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar su aprendizaje. Ella supervisa la programación y también puede ayudar a su estudiante a establecer metas y mantenerse al día.
