WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?

In a word, everyone! Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, friend of the District or business partner, if you care about our students and the education they receive, YOU can volunteer!*

WHAT WILL I DO AS A VOLUNTEER?

Every campus and every classroom has a different need. Volunteers assist with various tasks from making copies to serving as chaperones. No matter how big or small the task may be, rest assured you will be welcomed with open arms when you choose to become a volunteer.*

 (*All participants must complete and pass a background check before becoming an official Birdville volunteer.)

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

All participants must complete and pass a background check before becoming an official Birdville volunteer. Safety and security is part of the volunteer process and it's FREE.

Once a volunteer application has been approved, you will receive an email invitation to log on to your Volunteer Portal. It is important to provide a valid and unique email address on your application. (“Unique” means the email address is being used by only one person.) The Volunteer Portal allows volunteers to record hours worked, and learn of additional volunteer opportunities.
