The Birdville ISD Dance Department is a leader in the field of secondary dance education with a diverse, highly qualified faculty that takes great pride in innovation.  Birdville ISD also take pride in the excellent dance facilities provided for students.  A collaboratively designed curriculum develops well-rounded dancers and fine arts students.

Each school has various levels of classes from beginner to advanced offered as either PE or Fine Arts credit.  Students have prolific performance opportunities ranging from department shows to competitive dance teams.   Students can participate in JV and Varsity Dance/Drill teams as well as Hip Hop Crews.  Auditions are required for competitive teams to ensure proper ability placement aiding in the best experience possible for the student.  All programs emphasize individual growth through creative investigation and level-appropriate dance training.

The Birdville ISD Dance Department offers membership opportunities in the highly recognized National Honor Society for Dance Arts.  Participation in Birdville ISD Dance provides opportunities for students to develop 21st century skills including communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical chinking.
