• Forensic Science

    (grade 12)

     

    Forensic Science uses a structured and scientific approach to investigate crimes against persons including, but not limited to assault, domestic violence, suicide, homicide, and robbery.

    This course counts as a 4th year science credit and will be taught at the BCTAL for students in the Criminal Justice/Forensic Science pathway.

    Students will collect and analyze evidence through case studies and simulated crime scenes. Students will also learn the history, legal aspects, and career options for forensic science. The units that will be covered are listed below:
